      Tony is smart but also he is witty. For instance his artificial butler J.A.R.V.I.S is a acronym of "Just a Rather Very Information System " He played well in naming his friends and surroundings. In Comics his family butler's name was Edward Jarvis who took care of tony after their family's death.
